While we were developing our first multiscale instruments, the 080S was our first priority; but when 060S was released it quickly became a fan-favorite & cornerstone of our lineup. We can see why! The 060S makes subtle but powerful tweaks to the acclaimed 060 which provide huge benefits while remaining approachable. The multiscale design including scale lengths, neutral fret placement, body offset, & more were carefully chosen to create a balanced instrument that will not feel unfamiliar, yet improves your playing experience across the board.
S – Multiscale
"For me, the Aristides experience came in several stages. First, I was struck by the flawless craftsmanship and quality of every component. Secondly, by the pristine playability, resonance and stability. Then I realized this applied to all their instruments, but with a seemingly endless range of tonal variety. Arisitides Instruments are no doubt dedicated to innovation, but at the same time so passionate about bringing everything I love about guitars into the future. I’m just thrilled to be part of it!"

"It’s no secret I’ve had an obsession with Arium for a long time now, and I always reach for it while recording especially. It’s played a major role in creating my bands sound, and I feel that the material offers something very special, and unique, sonically. The prospect of recording with my usual go to’s, plus this Arium bass opens up a whole new world of possibilities, and I cannot wait to get it in my hands!"

About the S – Multiscale
Aristides’ multiscale S Series models are designed for clarity & precision playing across all genres of music. While the 080S model was first developed to cater to the needs of 8 string guitarists, the 060S & 070S were then released to extend those benefits to everyone. You will notice an increased clarity across large chords, better sustain on the low strings, an increased comfort in your fretting hand, & of course more clarity & intonation range when tuning down. Barre chords remain effortless, the lower horn has been adjusted for even further improved fret access, & a custom Hantug tremolo is available in addition to a traditional hardtail bridge as well as the custom Aristides Guitars EverTune. If you’re looking to get a little more out of your instrument, multiscale Aristides S series guitars deliver not only deep design & material benefits, but also skilled human craftsmanship to ensure your guitar plays perfect every time.
What is Arium?
All Aristides instruments are made using a proprietary material called ‘Arium.’ Not only is Arium tonally balanced with rich sustain, it is incredibly stable – all of our guitars are built with an integrally-layered exoskeleton & resonant Arium core. The end result is not only a sustainable instrument that will last a lifetime – but also a guitar built to the highest quality standards by a team of dedicated luthiers. Click below to learn more!

080S
Our first multiscale model! 080s was developed to improve the 8 string experience with comfortable treble strings for soloing & clean passages while maintaining a tight & clear low end with an even longer scale length than our traditional 080. You will notice a very balanced sound across the entire fretboard; the notes have a piano-like timbre. Another goal was “sizing down” the feel of the guitar for improved playability – we often hear “it feels like a 7 string!”

Aristides Guitars EverTune Multiscale
2023 saw our involvement in a massive viral guitar story when we created the world’s first true multiscale EverTune guitar bridge & installed it on an 070SR for Mike Stringer of Spiritbox. Our friends at EverTune gave us their blessing to combine EverTune modules with our own custom-made frame to create the Aristides Guitars EverTune.
