H – Headless

"My Aristides isn't just a reliably consistent tour companion; it's a continuous source of inspiration every time I play or write songs. Once I start jamming, I find it impossible to stop, captivated by the great feel, craftsmanship, and unparalleled playability of this guitar."

Ad Infinitum

"It’s no secret I’ve had an obsession with Arium for a long time now, and I always reach for it while recording especially. It’s played a major role in creating my bands sound, and I feel that the material offers something very special, and unique, sonically. The prospect of recording with my usual go to’s, plus this Arium bass opens up a whole new world of possibilities, and I cannot wait to get it in my hands!"

About the H – Headless

H/0 Headless Series Aristides guitars push boundaries to create truly new designs that benefits guitarists’ playing & creativity. Headless guitars provided a huge opportunity to innovate & apply both the strengths of Dutch craftsmanship & Arium’s unique material properties to a fast-growing style of guitar with a dedicated fanbase that wants the best. A true modern ergonomic guitar needs to leverage 3 things: an idealized ergonomic headless guitar design, skilled luthiers to build it to the highest standards, & a material that goes beyond the sonic & material limitations of wood. That’s why H/0 models feature carefully-designed multiscale fretboards & balanced bodies, proprietary hardtail & tremolo bridges built with Hantug Guitars, & an extreme tonal clarity that even led to the development of H/09, the premier high-performance 9-string guitar. When a guitar is lightweight, portable, stays in tune, doesn’t cause fatigue during long playing sessions, has an explosive tone that jumps out at you, & provides a balanced feel across the entire fretboard: you’re empowered to focus on your new song, your big show, & simply experiencing the joy of guitar.

What is Arium?

All Aristides instruments are made using a proprietary material called ‘Arium.’ Not only is Arium tonally balanced with rich sustain, it is incredibly stable – all of our guitars are built with an integrally-layered exoskeleton & resonant Arium core. The end result is not only a sustainable instrument that will last a lifetime – but also a guitar built to the highest quality standards by a team of dedicated luthiers. Click below to learn more!

Models

H/06

H/06 is made for modern guitarists searching for a high performance instrument that doesn’t play it safe. Every aspect of the electric guitar has been redesigned from the ground up for an ergonomic playing experience, tuning stability, light weight, & a resonant, clear tone. Our customers have described the H/06 as similar to taking off ankle weights. Playing H/06 does not feel foreign in the slightest, but your playing will immediately take you much further.

H/07

The benefits of our ergonomic headless design become even more pronounced on extended range guitars. The H/07 is so light & compact that it’s easy to forget about the extra string – until of course you hear that clear B (or lower!) for yourself. As with all H/0 models, H/07 can be equipped with our custom proprietary Hantug hardtail or tremolo bridges & your choice of passive-mount, soapbar, & single coil pickups for a unique custom guitar you can’t get anywhere else.

H/08

We have a dedicated following of incredible 8 string guitarists who we’ve strove to impress all the way back to the original 080 in 2015. H/08 is the logical extension of our 8 string journey, with painstaking steps taken to remove the potential downsides of both 8 string & headless instruments. Rock-solid easy to use hardware, a compact form-fitting body, & the perfect multiscale layout make it easy to express yourself whether you’re playing djent or modern classical.

H/09

H/09 is a total passion project. After our headless series debuted, we received an increasing number of requests from friends & artists for a 9 string. It was a daunting task – there are a lot of challenges with 9 string guitars! “Can we really create a balanced & usable 9 string? Will anyone buy it?” Our design team took it as a challenge & we could not be more proud of the results. Feedback on the H/09 has been fabulous, & hearing the huge range of music being made on them in the wild is inspiring. H/09 is a must-try if you’re looking to push the boundaries of your creativity while keeping your instrument versatile & comfortable in all registers.

Aristides Guitars EverTune Multiscale

2023 saw our involvement in a massive viral guitar story when we created the world’s first true multiscale EverTune guitar bridge & installed it on an 070SR for Mike Stringer of Spiritbox. Our friends at EverTune gave us their blessing to combine EverTune modules with our own custom-made frame to create the Aristides Guitars EverTune.
