What Happened At Aristides’ NAMM 2024?

Multiscale EverTune, S/B Bass Launch, & More

What’s NAMM really like, anyway? Well, Aristides’ NAMM 2024 was a blast. In case you couldn’t make it this year, or just want as much juicy info as you can find, we wanted to share the good times with this Aristides NAMM 2024 recap.

Thanks so much for reading, we have more monthly Aristides updates coming for you throughout the entire year, including model reveals, tone demos, artist interviews, & more.

Setting The Stage

Sharing a Booth with Revv Amplification.

For NAMM 2024, we once again shared our space with Revv Amplification. They arrive early to build an isolation booth with awesome graphics, & we use one of the exterior walls to display our guitars. We’re very grateful for this arrangement; we also use their amps for players to try our guitars, & we even have a Generator 120 at our factory in The Netherlands for demos.

What’s NAMM Prep Like?

It goes without saying – NAMM is a lot of work! So much time goes into getting all of the guitars ready before the show, & it’s a very long flight all the way to California. We’re exhausted before the show even starts! But with some trips to the hotel gym – & a lot of coffee – we’re always excited for Thursday morning. Seeing so many friends, colleagues, & artists in person is a highlight of our year. If you’ve ever thought about going, we’d really encourage you to do so.

Quantum Industries Cases.

We get a lot of question about what case is included with our guitars. We use Quantum Industries – founded by our old friend Jackel Pun! Jackel is a Hong Kong-based solo artist & instructor who’s ordered dozens of killer Aristides over the years; it was awesome to see him at NAMM 2024 with his own Quantum Industries booth. His soft cases are very durable & forward-thinking, which is why we include them with our custom guitars.

Hitting It Off

Meeting with EverTune.

While we may have already broke the internet last year when our Aristides Custom Multiscale EverTune leaked to the public, Aristides’ NAMM 2024 marked the official debut of the new bridge! We met with EverTune to discuss the results in person. We had so much fun showing these guitars to players at the show. Guitarists treated the multiscale/EverTune combination like magic. “Finally they’re both on one guitar!” You can order your own EverTune-equipped S-Series guitar right now.

Players Love the New S/B Bass Series.

We spent a very long time researching & designing our newly relaunched bass lineup, because we’re committed to not just offering “an Aristides bass,” but rather a flagship model that solves problems & has something unique to offer bassists of all kinds. We of course sent prototypes to artists for testing along the way, but Aristides’ NAMM 2024 was S/B’s debut “in the wild.” Wow! Players loved these basses. We got lots of great feedback on the deep, clear tone of the low strings, as well as the scale lengths’ comfort. Here you can see Pascal showing off an aqua 4-string in an interview with Vinny The Axe
