Summer 2024 Build Highlight

060R Aqua Green
Aqua Green was one of the first Raw colors we offered, & it’s been a staple of our lineup ever since. Our Raw finish’s unique feel, reduced cost, & faster build time make it a reliable workhorse for guitarists around the world. With a recessed Original Floyd Rose & Fishman Fluence pickups, this 060R is ready for any stage.
However, this seemingly straightforward workhorse has a lot going on under the hood! Let’s take a look at the back. Firstly, all Raw Aristides custom guitars have a clear backplate. This one has been routed for easy access to both a Schaller Sureclaw (to simplify spring adjustments) as well as the rechargeable Fishman battery pack (no more changing batteries!).
The clear backplate is a practical production choice that pairs best with our Raw finishing method, but it has also become a fan-favorite feature to show off clean wiring & craftsmanship. Still tidy even on builds like this with a lot going on!
T/0 Black Worn Satin
Where do we start with this stunning T/0? The T/0 model actually helped bring many of the options you see here to life. The T/0 not only offers a new shape for us, but it also features a different neck depth & fretboard radius from our other models, in addition to its 22 frets. Many of our customers who enjoy that feel inquired about pushing the T/0 platform even further in an “old school” direction. The T/0, like all Aristides custom guitars, is a modern instrument through & through, but appointments like the F-Hole & worn finish help push it in a certain direction that many guitarists appreciate.
Of course, some of the specifications here are available on many of our other models, & help make this guitar as versatile as possible. These include the Hipshot US Contour non-locking 2-point tremolo bridge, as well as the HSS Seymour Duncan pickup configuration.
The T/0 is a fantastic option for any guitarist; not only because of its variety of pickguard & control layout options or its unique feel & sound within the Aristides lineup, but simply because it is a stable, resonant, toneful guitar built to the highest standards that’s easy to appreciate for a wide variety of musical applications.
H/07 Purple Shattered Gloss
Our “Shattered” finishes became an instant Aristides classic when they debuted in 2018. This high gloss deep Purple variant has been very popular this year. You can actually catch Mike Stringer using his Purple Shattered 070s on the road with Spiritbox right now!
Note the satinized neck option on the rear. This is a highly-favored spec for fast playability, which we perform on almost all of our gloss guitars. As an added bonus, you can see that Shattered still looks phenomenal in its satinized state. A gloss Aristides custom guitar with a satinized neck is a great way to add some variety to your build so you can appreciate the finish in multiple ways. The transition on the heel is so smooth, it will never get in your way!
The H/0 Headless Series is a fantastic option for ergonomics, travel, & ultimately any guitarist wishing to push the instrument further. The H/07 is favored by many players due to the reduced mass ‘sizing down’ the instrument to give it more of a 6 string guitar affectation. We even recently developed a new revision of our headless bridge saddles with our partners Hantug Guitars, for very convenient string changes & rock-solid reliability.
