Laurence Armitage is a guitarist for UK melodic heavy metallers, STORMBORN.

Stormborn blaze a unique trail in heavy metal, crafting a sound that fuses classic elements with bold, modern innovation. A backbone of old school heavy metal is mixed with the energy and melodic essence of power metal, and the fury of more extreme sub genres. An energetic live show saw them conquer stages on their first UK tour, Bloodstock and Summerbreeze festivals and they hunger for more with the release of their new album, “ZENITH”.

“I’m honoured to join the Aristides Family! I got my 060 in September 2020 and haven’t looked back since. I decided to dive in blind after seeing Leprous using them live and the factory tour videos on youtube. Seeing the level of care and attention to detail that goes into every step of production, I knew I couldn’t go wrong. You can really feel it in the guitar – From the fretwork, beautiful wiring and the setup, it just feels right! I especially love the options on offer, especially layouts (I was tired of removing tone pots, moving volumes and plugging holes in other guitars!) and of course the custom paintwork and inlays are just unreal. It sounds cliché, but I can’t say enough good things about them and can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeve in the future!”
