Bolin Zhu is a Chinese guitarist based in Chongqing, China. He began his journey with the guitar in late 2020 and is now the guitarist of the Chinese progressive metalcore band Inchaos.

Bolin discovered modern metal and Aristides guitars in mid-2023 through Mike Stringer’s guitar playthrough of the song “Secret Garden.” Inspired by guitarists such as Mike Stringer, Jesse Cash, Mitch Stark, and Keaton Goldwire, he gradually developed his own playing style and songwriting preferences with his Aristides guitars, blending technical precision with emotional depth.

Since being invited to his first metalcore band, Inchaos in late 2024, Bolin has quickly gained recognition as one of the most promising figures by the Chinese modern metal scene. The band is currently working on a new full-length album, with Bolin playing a major role in its composition and lyrics. The album is set to be released in 2026.
