Bio
Songwriter and guitarist Trey Hawkins has been recording and touring in the modern metal and hardcore scene since 2014. Writing and playing in bands ranging from metalcore and melodic hardcore, as well as pop punk, current projects include Light the Fire and Set//Adrift.
Writing and touring with Light the Fire since 2018, Trey was heavily involved in the creation of the breakout album “Compassion in Unlikely Places” and then the primary creative force for “Death Won’t Be The End of Me Parts I and II.” Now a part of the Seek and Strike Records family, the quartet now see themselves tackling a significantly heavier sound with their forthcoming EP “I Won’t Be There To Save You” produced by Lance Prenc of Alpha Wolf renown. Set//Adrift released their debut album “To Love is To Regret” in 2024 and are currently working on their sophomore release on CMPSN records.
