Bio
Mike ‘Gilbert’ is the founding guitarist of the California technical brutal death metal band Severed Savior, and currently with the legendary progressive metal band Cynic. Severed Savior made a name for themselves in the early 2000’s as one of the pioneers of the “Cali tech death” scene. The band’s 2008 release, “Servile Insurrection” showcases Gilbert’s proficiency in writing and playing complex and diverse musical styles.
