“Aristides is going to take us into the future. The insane attention to detail, the mathematically perfect construction, complete resistance to whatever climate you throw at it, and one of the smartest run companies I’ve ever seen. When you play it you can feel the whole guitar resonating in your hands, there isn’t a single wonky fret or weak spot. You can feel every note vibrating as you play while you stare at the neck and admire the construction. I am proud that this guitar will outlive me and all of my future children; it will be the single most proud object of my entire existence. “

Four Stroke Baron

Bio

Kirk Witt is the American guitarist and vocalist of the progressive duo Four Stroke Baron, alongside co-songwriter and drummer Matt Vallarino. Kirk Witt’s distinctive groovy and bouncy riff style skillfully navigates the delicate balance between disharmony and melody—his unconventional goose-like vocals soar over a deceptively technical bed of weighty rhythms. After building a small cult following while having zero internet presence or social media, Four Stroke Baron officially broke onto the scene with the critically acclaimed 2018 album “Planet Silver Screen.” Quickly capturing the attention of their peers, Four Stroke Baron worked with Devin Townsend, who provided mixing and sound design duties on their 2021 opus “Classics,” and Four Stroke Baron later collaborated with Paul Masvidal of Cynic fame on their 2024 follow up “Data Diamond.” Live and in the studio, Kirk Witt proudly uses Aristides guitars to capture his dynamic style with zero fuss.
