Bio
According to his mom, Troy has been pulling down microphones and climbing piano benches since he could walk. Clearly infatuated with music from early on, Troy began playing music at age eight and picked up the guitar a few years later.
In 2014, Troy joined the Austin, Texas-based pop-rock/punk band Forever Starts Today. Forever Starts Today gained national attention upon releasing their debut full-length album, Always Hope, in 2017 and have continued their upward trajectory since. Having recently recorded with James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath, Hands Like Houses), Forever Starts Today looks forward to sharing the next chapter of their journey with the world in late 2019.
Outside of music, Troy has a degree in Astrophysics from the University of Texas at Austin. This background in science compels Troy to do his homework before making major decisions, and from the moment he first picked up an Aristides, he immediately knew this was the guitar for him. Whether it’s under the bright lights on stage, writing music for Forever Starts Today, or producing for other bands in the studio, Troy knows his Aristides 060 is ready to work whenever and wherever he is.
