Bio
Øystein Skonseng Landsverk is a guitarist in the Norwegian band Leprous, and has also been a session musician for Ihsahn during the first few years of Ihsahn’s solo career. After playing several different instruments, he was introduced to guitars at the age of 14 and joined Leprous a couple of years later. In 2008, Leprous released their first full length studio album entitled “Tall Poppy Syndrome”. A European tour with Therion followed in 2010, along with another critically acclaimed album called “Bilateral” and numerous performances with Leprous and Ihsahn at big festivals such as Graspop, Hellfest, Tuska and Wacken. More albums followed and Leprous toured Europe, United States, Japan and Australia.
Leprous recently completed a live DVD recording of their most recent album entitled “The Congregation”, at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo.
