How Long Have You Been Playing: On & off for 22 years.
What Do You Play: Mainly Hard Rock and Metal; Thrash, Metalcore, Rock, Classic Rock and a bunch of other stuff! LTD, Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Gojira, Periphery, Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Led Zeppelin and Queen.
What Made You Want To Try Aristides: I kept seeing posts on Facebook from various builds that were in the works. I was instantly intrigued. The design was striking and different. I love innovation and this really appealed to me. Then I saw and heard Misha Mansoor play one live at a Periphery show. It really stood out among the other guitars he played that night. At NAMM 2015, I swung by the booth and had a brief, close up look at the guitars, I was hooked! Then last summer, Pascal posted some pics of the Dutch Orange 060 and that was the last straw, I had to have one! I had gone through a bunch of different high end guitars and there was always something that I didn’t like about each one. I wanted a durable, versatile guitar for gigging that covered all the bases and would hold up under pressure. I found it.
What Do You Like About Aristides: In a word, everything! The guitars themselves are impeccable. The fit and finish is absolutely top class. The range of options available can surely cover anyone’s wishes and the execution is flawless. They are incredibly resonant and balanced. Even unplugged they are full sounding due to the construction and materials. Harmonically rich and they really will cover anything tonally and remain incredibly stable throughout. The neck is the perfect shape for me and there is unhindered upper register access. The other huge bonus is that the customer service is second to none. The entire design and ordering process is entirely focused on what you want to achieve with the instrument. The frequent updates and progress pics don’t feel forced and the company is both highly professional and incredibly friendly. With how progressive the company is, my 3 are just the start of my Aristides collection.
